I told them at checkout that the toilet lid had broken when I simply sat down on it. The receptionist didn't hear me out and charged us anyway. Later, the hotel said the damage wasn't from normal use, which I strongly disagree with, and wouldn't refund the charge. I think the lid was made from poor-quality material, and the whole thing felt unfair and left a bad impression 😞.

The greenery and garden behind the property make it easy to relax, and there's also a swimming pool, jacuzzi, and spa access included until 10 pm. We spent the weekend here. It's on a highway, about 10 minutes from the old city by local bus, with good connections. The rooms are a decent size, and breakfast was really good. It has a resort feel.

We often look forward to stopping here on our travels, and this time we stayed on two separate occasions. The gardens are lovely, the food is amazing, breakfast has a great choice, and the service is fantastic. There's also a relaxing spa area if you have time. It's dog friendly, which makes us very happy since we can bring our dogs along. Looking forward to next time.

We checked in on Friday evening and called in a dinner order, which was prepared well. The room was nicely set up for all four of us, and the night receptionist was great. They offered us a late checkout at noon so the kids could enjoy the sauna and swimming.

A big thank you to everyone at the Forrest Hotel, from the front desk to room service and the kitchen. They looked after me so well during my stay, and being treated like family makes a big difference when you're there for an extended time. There were smiles and laughter in the mornings and warm greetings in the evenings. Special thanks to Aneta, she's the best! I look forward to coming back when I can.
