Las Olas Beach apartments

We booked two nights but checked out as quickly as we could the first morning and lost the cost of the second night. The host responded well, but there were too many issues to stay. The room was in the back corner, with none of the views shown in the listing, and the advertised photos didn’t resemble the room we got. The floor was dirty, we had only one bath towel, the bed rocked, and its sheets looked stained. The toilet and bathroom sink were loose, there was no cold water in the kitchenette, and the door latch felt very insecure. We’d never stayed at this property before, despite the host’s response to my review seeming to ignore our concerns.

The apartment’s location was good, right by the beach and near good restaurants, and the owner was kind and accommodating. But the room needed a better cleaning. Cleanliness was an issue.

This was booked as an emergency for one night, and thank goodness, because I can’t imagine staying longer. The place wasn’t cleaned: the trash can was full when we arrived, there were old food boxes in the fridge area, and the floor was dirty. There was barely any light and no hot water, so I sprayed the bed with my Lysol. The owner said there was nothing he could do, then texted goodnight. Save your money and find somewhere better.

The location is great, near the beach and restaurants, but we wouldn’t stay here again. The apartment was gross: crumbs and stains on the couch, a moldy bathroom curtain, and a dirty fridge and walls. The bed was very uncomfortable, like a partly deflated air mattress, and made a lot of noise.
