The beach was an easy walk away, with soft sand and beautiful water, and the neighborhood felt safe and welcoming. Cabo Rojo is a lovely base if you enjoy nature and the coast, with plenty to do. I stayed in these comfortable, simple cabanas in April 2015 and still think about the spacious yard and its relaxing hammocks. Yaneria was warm, helpful, and a wonderful host. I miss the place and thought of everyone there during Hurricane Maria. I hope they’re all safe.
