We reserved and paid, but couldn't stay. There was no staff available to check us in after 6 p.m., and we never got the promised access code. We couldn't reach anyone by phone, either, and never heard back.

A scam, absolutely avoid it. The road is impassable. We arrived at night to find no lights and a muddy track through the jungle. After walking for 30 minutes in the dark, there was nobody to let us in. The owner has never replied to us in 15 days. We had to sleep in the car because it was late, and now we're seeing lots of complaints online. Don't make the same mistake if you want to enjoy this beautiful island.

FRAUD. These people answer the phone only when they feel like it, if they answer at all. The road is awful, and you can't get through without a high-clearance vehicle or pickup truck. The pool was dirty and unusable. I asked for a refund because I couldn't reach the place on that impassable road, and they never replied. Terrible service. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS DISGUSTING PLACE OR THESE PEOPLE.
