Dorado Beach, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve

What we valued most was the kindness and gentleness we felt in such a difficult world. My husband and I were greeted with warmth and sincerity again and again, 20 or 30 times a day. The people at Dorado Beach are wonderful, bringing together Puerto Rican authenticity and the feel of a luxury resort. The grounds, room, views, service, food, and surroundings all went well beyond what we expected. We found little quiet moments of joy each day. This resort changed how we think about a vacation, and we'll return to our busy lives feeling fully restored. Thank you for the experience.

Loved it, loved it, loved it. From the minute you arrive, the care is so good and consistent throughout the resort. Our Embajador team, especially Raysa and Miguel, were incredible. We booked at the last minute, and the day we could go for massages was already full. They still went out of their way to get us into the spa, which was awesome. Those extra efforts make such a difference. There are lots of restaurants and pools, a beautiful beach, great service, and gorgeous landscaping. The fitness classes were really fun, and the food was excellent. We ate a lot of popsicles. Restaurant waits can be a bit long, but they didn't change the experience. Highly recommend.

The resort was in great shape, from the spa and pools to the golf course. We liked having bikes right outside our room to ride around the complex, and the rum waiting for us when we arrived was a nice touch.

The beach is spectacular, and the pool is enormous. The golf course is one of a kind. This Puerto Rican hotel feels like an amazing, one-of-a-kind jewel in the world.
