I loved hearing the coquis at night, and the beach is easy to get to, with lots of good restaurants along the strip. It was a comfortable, affordable spot to rest near Isla Verde. Ivannie & Jose were kind and welcoming, the beds were comfy, and the AC worked well. The rain shower and spa sink were nice, and the clothes rack came in handy for drying wet things. They also lend out beach towels and chairs, and I’d stay again. A few small changes would help: hooks for clothes, somewhere to sit besides the bed, and maybe a smaller dresser or a desk.

If you're planning to explore San Juan most of the day, this is a good place to come back to. It has the basics, a bed, shower, microwave, and mini fridge, at a fair price, right across from what may be one of the best beaches in PR. The hosts are great and usually reply to texts within 5-10 minutes. There are plenty of food options nearby and a supermarket about a five-minute walk away. Old San Juan is roughly a 10-20 minute Uber ride. Parking around the apartment is a real hassle, so walking or taking an Uber to nearby places may save you trouble.

3050 Place is the current name of this Airbnb, though the website still shows its old name. The husband and wife who own and manage it were wonderful and took care of my needs from booking through arrival. There are three apartments: a studio with two beds and a bathroom, plus two larger units for bigger groups. You’ll find pretty much everything nearby, including the beach, restaurants, bars, supermarkets, highways, the airport, casinos, and car rentals.

The place was clean, and the owner was easy to reach whenever I needed anything. It’s just one block from the beach.
