Saint Tropez

We had a great time, and everything was awesome. Jensen, the security guard, was especially helpful and gave me great suggestions for local shops and places to eat.

The location is really the reason to book this condo building, and the pool was beautiful. The elevator worked, the air conditioner did its job, the bath towels were nice, and they provided one beach towel. Hosts replied right away during check-in, and the gate attendant was very friendly. I booked a generic condo through Priceline and got unit 2R. The unit felt uncomfortable for two people, even though it sleeps four, and after two nights I was ready to leave. There was just one outdoor chair and nowhere to sit inside. The TVs were tiny, and there was a lot of strange DIY work along with old outlets and fixtures. Hand towels, washcloths, and shampoo were only available if requested. The polyester sheets were hot and uncomfortable. The shower water was warm enough, but never hot, and I found hair in the shower when I arrived, perhaps caught in the granite edging. The enclosed hallways felt a bit like a prison. It was very expensive, though I can understand that location and taxes may explain the price.

A really amazing place to stay, ten out of ten. You can cook just like at home, with clean beds and all the details handled through Airbnb. The apartments vary in size, and some are just right. It feels more like a home than a hotel, with the beach, stores, and restaurants so close by. The pool is clean and deep, and the sun stays right over the center of it all day. It's a peaceful place to enjoy summer all year, and I'd recommend it to friends and family. Contact me through Airbnb, as we also have apartments available.

Good spot, friendly people, and a comfortable pool with chairs, palm trees, and a grill area. We're enjoying our stay so far. The only downside is that the service road doesn't provide beach access, so you have to walk farther down.
