The pool, the tucked away beach nearby, the adorable dogs, and the relaxing garden are some of our favorite parts of Del Mar. We’ve stayed here three times now, and loved it enough to get married here. The property is beautiful, close to beaches and the rainforest, and the owners are friendly and helpful. Most units have full kitchens, which lets us cook and save money instead of buying mofongo every night, though the local mofongo is really good. There’s also a tasty pinchos and BBQ stand around the block that’s worth checking out. Already looking forward to coming back.

We still talk about our anniversary stay in the couple suite from a few years ago, and can’t wait to return. My husband arranged a beach picnic, and the host had everything set up. It was so romantic. They also have a tree house suite you can book. We still brag about that trip.

The place where the river meets the ocean is beautiful, and the property and neighborhood are full of flowers, plants, and little creatures. We came with two families, and the kids loved the well kept pool. We also ate dinner on the patio every night. Host Jesse gave us lots of helpful tips and was always just a text away when we had questions about the area or apartment. El Yungque rainforest is a very short drive away. It’s an affordable gem, and I might come back to PR more often because of it. Book through their actual website so more money goes to the business owner!

We stayed for 8 days, and the hosts were remarkably friendly and helpful throughout. They gave us excellent daily suggestions for tours and things to do. There’s plenty nearby, including the Rainforest, zipline trails, boat tours, and great beaches. The pool is great too, lightly salted rather than chlorinated, and the kids could spend all day in the water. Such a beautiful place to stay.

During our honeymoon in 2015, my wife Terry and I spent several days here and had a really nice stay. The grounds are well kept and the pool is lovely. It’s secluded and private, with the ocean and a clean, mostly empty beach just 100 meters away. We also took the nice kayaks they have on site and paddled up the nearby river.
