Parador Mauna Caribe

Lisandra was the best and made sure we had everything we needed. I loved watching the waves from the infinity pool, and the view is incredible. The restaurant was nice, and the place is quiet and relaxing. The only thing I didn't like was having nowhere to put shampoo, conditioner, or soap in the bathroom, so I had to leave them on the toilet while I showered.

The people working here are what make Parador MaunaCaribe special. Ana Cristina Lopez and Lisandra were incredibly kind after our exhausting trip, with a flight delayed by 7 hours, a 3 a.m. landing, and no way to pick up our rental car until 7 a.m. They offered to change our reservation and let us check in early. The location and facilities were great too, just as the many positive reviews say. Thanks again.

The air conditioning kept having the same problem, even after someone adjusted it in the first room. When I came back, it was still an issue. They moved me to a second room, then another, but each had the same problem, and it still hadn't been resolved as of that day. I arrived on 05/8/26 and was also told there was no cooler in the room and no insulated cups available. The worker in charge tried everything to fix the situation, but had no luck. They gave me two free drinks to keep me happy, but that didn't do it.

The food is great, and all the staff have been friendly and helpful. It’s also very reasonably priced, with a beautiful setting. I’m on the island for work right now, and I’ll definitely come back to this hotel with my family for a vacation.
