The view was lovely, and the place felt cute and clean, so I think it works well for a couple. For a family, though, it wasn't set up well: there was just one small, full-size bed, and they charged $50 for our ten-year-old. We also paid for a rollaway, but its mattress was barely two inches thick and really uncomfortable. The air conditioning was only in the bedroom, with none in the living room.

Wilson and his wife were wonderful, and we made friends at the hotel that we'd love to visit again. When we arrived, the staff gave us loads of helpful tips about where to go and what to do. The resort itself was amazing, too. I also got to repair the internet after hurricane damage while I was there, so guests now should have very fast service if they need to get work done while relaxing. I'd recommend staying here and plan to return.

The balcony in the Guava room is much bigger than its description lets on. We loved the stay, and the price felt great for what we got. It's on a quiet road, with the beach just down the stairs, though you'll want shoes because of the rocks. Bring a little food if you want to see plenty of sea life. Tarpon seem to prefer meat to bread, lol. If you need anything, just call and they'll take care of it.

The room was fine, though the living room felt quite dated. We only got two paper-thin bath towels, which were useless, so I used the hair dryer instead. There were no beach towels or chairs, either. On the plus side, you're right by the ocean, with the waves to fall asleep and wake up to. Beaches and places to eat are nearby: Rincon public beach is under 10 minutes away, and there are four or five restaurants within a four-minute drive. You can't get down to the water from the deck, though. It looks like there used to be stairs, but the broken ones don't seem likely to be fixed soon.
