Margaritaville Vacation Club Wyndham Rio Mar

We had a great five-day vacation. The beaches were peaceful, the location worked perfectly, and the staff were always incredibly friendly. Food and drinks at the resort cost a lot. I'd suggest stopping in town at the local FamCoop to pick up groceries and alcohol. Drinks at the 5'oclock somewhere bar come with a steep convenience tax. I also wish the pool music didn't run so late. I think it shuts off at 10pm.

Tana and Ashley at the front desk made check-in easy. They were so friendly and helpful. The resort itself is beautiful, relaxing, and well cared for, and it made an already amazing island trip even better. We'd happily stay here again.

The staff are wonderful. When we mentioned at check-in that our son likes Kit Kats, they later brought a bunch to our room along with a dinosaur balloon. There are great pools, including one with two water slides, at this nice hotel in a lovely island setting.

Being right on the beach was a big plus, and there were lots of dining options. Every place we tried served excellent food, with not a single bad meal or drink. The staff were cheerful and friendly, and the excursion desk was handy. Our room was beautifully decorated. Housekeeping quickly replaced a faulty hairdryer when I called. The activities team were wonderful, with a great variety of things to do. Everything was beautifully landscaped and maintained, and I liked that the pool area had separate adult and kids' sides.
