Ayana Inn PR

We stayed for one night before our cruise and would happily return. The room was spotless, spacious, and comfortable. This small boutique property communicated well, has gated access, and offers parking out front if you have a car. It's right next to its sister property, Dream Inn, and there are several restaurants an easy walk away.

Luca checked us in, explained what was available, and gave good service. The standard king room where I stayed had enough room to sleep and move around the bed, though there are bigger deluxe rooms too. It was cozy, clean, and well cared for, with no surprise critters like roaches, lizards, or ants. On really sunny days the water got very hot, which I appreciated even in the tropical heat and humidity. You can hear some road noise, but it wasn't too bad in this neighborhood of mostly locals and a few tourists. I'd recommend it if you want to stay somewhere walkable and not far from things to do in PR.

There are several good restaurants a short walk away, and the WiFi was great. My room was well equipped and very clean. I appreciated that they contacted me to say an early check-in was possible. It's on a somewhat busy road, though, and cars sometimes play loud music in the evening, so I'd bring earplugs. A great place to spend a night before or after a cruise.

I arrived late, but the check-in directions were clear, and there was onsite parking for my rental car. The neighborhood was quiet at night and felt safe even late. The beds were really comfortable, the rooms modern and clean, and the shower got nice and hot. After searching for days for a good-value hotel in San Juan, I'm glad I found this one.
