The location was very central, and the contact person was friendly. The room was very dark because there were no windows. There was a kitchen, but it was so cluttered we couldn't use it. For us, the price didn't match what we got.

Our first day in Puerto Rico turned out great thanks to this place. We arrived late and couldn't check into our original accommodation, and there was no one we could reach. Luckily we found this spot. The host was so kind and welcoming that we felt at home right away. She even took us to a local breakfast place and shared good recommendations for food and places to visit. We would have stayed longer if we weren't heading to Culebra Island. Wholeheartedly recommend it!

After a flight delay left me stranded by another hotel, I ended up somewhere new at 1 a.m., stressed and with only limited Spanish. The manager at Zen retreat answered the phone, welcomed me, understood what I was dealing with, and got everything sorted quickly so I could sleep. I only stayed one night, but she was friendly in the morning and had recommendations for me. I felt very well looked after.

It was fine, though the place needs remodeling.

Eileen and Gabriela are attentive, helpful hosts. The place is clean, and I appreciated having individual AC units in the rooms that I could control myself. If you're after an AirBNB style stay, this is a great option.
