The rooftop was a nice place to hang out, and you can find a parking house about a five-minute walk away for a good price. The guest house is okay, and the location in Old San Juan is very good. Inside, the place has seen better days and it’s quite noisy. Our shower barely dribbled out a few drops, so rinsing the shampoo took ages. Calling it a shower is generous :)

I wouldn’t recommend this place. The room wasn’t great and had no windows, which made it feel kind of depressing. The people running the Airbnb left a terrible review on our account with harsh, false claims. It’s the only bad review I’ve had in FIVE YEARS. They ignored my partner’s and my messages when we tried to dispute it.

We especially loved the location, with restaurants and stores all nearby and easy to reach on foot. The place was cozy and had enough space for two.

The location is the main thing going for this Airbnb. It’s central, with local bars, shops, and restaurants close by. Beyond that, there wasn’t much to like. The space felt neglected and not as advertised. It wasn’t well maintained, and it was clear on arrival that cleanliness and upkeep weren’t priorities. Some amenities seemed broken or neglected. I also had a frustrating time communicating with the host. I sent a couple of basic questions and concerns, but the replies came very late or didn’t come at all. With cleaner rooms, improved decor, and better communication, the listing could have potential. As it is, I wouldn’t recommend it.

We only stayed a couple of hours before our flight, and it was good value for that. The room was good, though a little cramped. That’s normal if you’re staying in old san juan. Good experience overall. It’s an AirBNB.
