ROSA by DW

I stayed at Rosa 2 in July and couldn’t stop thinking about it, so this was my second visit. The two terraces are great for relaxing, and I loved the book nook while my son loved the hammock. The tub is huge. My son is 6 ft tall, and when we lay in it in our swimsuits with our arms stretched out, we couldn’t even reach each other.

The room was neat and clean when we got there, the bed was very comfortable, and they’d left us a bottle of champagne. We enjoyed the stay, though I wanted to mention a few things that might help, especially for women. Rosa 2 has no mirror inside, so getting ready in the bathroom can be uncomfortable in summer heat. The bathroom lighting also makes doing hair or makeup difficult. The shower head isn’t broken, but the pressure is weak, which can be a problem for washing long hair. None of this bothered us too much during a short visit, but perhaps it can be improved.

The outdoor shower was a fun first for me, and I slept well even though the bed was very firm. Everything was close enough to walk to, and I really enjoyed the stay. I’d come back to another DW location.

We picked ROSA for the last part of our Puerto Rico vacation so we could wind down, and it worked out really well. The house was cozy and kept in good shape. At first the hot water was set too low, but the team adjusted it quickly when I asked. Since check-in is self-service, requests like laundry or fresh towels go through email or chat. They always replied very fast, within minutes. A really satisfying stay for us, and we’ll definitely return.
