La Buena Vida Inn

For an early morning arrival, being near the airport mattered most. The hotel sent the self check-in details ahead of time, and getting in was easy. The room was clean, quiet, and efficiently set up, with a comfortable bed and A/C that worked well. Just right for a quick stopover in San Juan.

The indoor patio was such a nice place to work or unwind, with plenty of room and lovely natural light. Everything was spotless, from the roomy bedrooms and bathrooms to the shared areas. The kitchen was neatly organized, and people were considerate about each other's food. With the dining table, books, and beautiful decor, the place has a lot of personality and feels welcoming. Nights were completely quiet, I felt safe, and the staff were absolute sweethearts. Loved my three days here, and I'll come back next time I'm in Puerto Rico.

I had such a good time at this hostel. It felt like a lot of thought went into making guests comfortable. They left printed guides in the room with nearby restaurant, beach, and nightlife suggestions, which was a small but really helpful touch. You can walk to the beach, and there are plenty of breakfast and lunch spots just around the corner. The indoor patio has a full kitchen with the essentials for cooking, making coffee, and putting together meals, which helped me save money. There's a quiet workspace up there too, with great tables for remote work or just thinking. My room was huge, with two bathrooms, two showers, and two sinks, so getting ready with friends was easy. I loved the decor and vibe, and felt I'd made the right choice for my Puerto Rico visit.

I loved the shared spaces, and the room was really clean. Check-in was easy and the staff were friendly, so the stay was worth it. The no toilet paper flushing rule, which you see in many places in PR, took some getting used to.
