Mcleary 1 Casa Ocean Park Beach San Juan

The location is the one good thing, and there are plenty of other hotels nearby. We left early after cockroaches appeared in the room, killing 3 in one night. The mattress gave us back pain, and light from outside came through the frosted glass door. On top of that, the owner was extremely rude and bad-tempered, using abusive language toward guests. We felt unsafe and couldn't get much sleep. I wouldn't recommend Omero Ocean Park.

This is our second stay at Onero Hotel in Ocean Park, PR, and it felt like coming home again. The grounds are warm and inviting, and our room was clean and so comfortable. Angel and Patrick are what make Omero special, though. They're welcoming and accommodating, and made us feel like family. Omero has become our home away from home. See you soon!!!!! 🥰

We stayed in an efficiency room, which was clean and convenient. The beach is less than 10 minutes away, and just up the block there's plenty of food, shopping, and local conveniences. They checked in with us every day and even bought the particular coffee creamer my husband uses. Angel and Patrick listened to our feedback and asked for it, too, which was more than we expected. The outdoor setup was a nice surprise. One of the two small courtyards, on either side of the gated property, has an above-ground hot tub for winding down after the beach and an outdoor shower. The other has an extra kitchen with a sink, microwave, refrigerator, and coffee bar. Our stay also came with beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas, plus two bikes for exploring San Juan. There's a separate area and a somewhat private patio for families with children. We were just two adults, but thought that was a nice option. Quiet hours run from evening through early morning. Booking was easy. Patrick helped with our luggage as soon as we arrived and took us to our room. He said Angel would be there shortly to show us around and go over the amenities. Angel welcomed us, checked that we were happy with the room, and made sure we'd received towels and linens. Both hosts were responsive and knew a lot about San Juan. They shared tips on breakfast, Cuban sandwiches, Old San Juan, happy hour, dining, shopping, and transportation. We also got to meet Lily 💕 and Sasha 💕, the real highlights of Omero and the ones running the show 💎💅🏼! It's an affordable stay that still felt comfortable and safe, and the property is clean, quaint, and well placed for exploring the island. We highly recommend it and are already looking forward to coming back! For an extra tip, if you want to spend a day at a pool, just download Resort Pass.

We'd definitely come back. The place is super clean, and Angel and Patrick are the BEST, such friendly, accommodating hosts. There were beach towels, chairs, a cooler, and other things to borrow, plus a water bottle and beer waiting when we arrived. After walking over 8 miles, the hot tub was exactly what we needed. The location felt safe, with lots of places to eat nearby and a Walgreens just minutes away. Thanks for a fantastic stay on a much-needed trip. We're already missing our room! 🥰
