Olive Palace Restaurant and Lounge

The steaks were the main problem on New Year's Eve. There were four of us, and only one came out as ordered. We had asked for medium and two medium-well steaks, but the others were rare. When we mentioned it, the waitress seemed unhappy and the replacements came back nearly burnt. The salads weren't fresh either, and none of the food tasted good. We paid 200 per person and left straight away to find a decent meal somewhere else. We regretted choosing this place for our celebration, and based on its current standards, I wouldn't recommend it. I couldn't reply to the owners, so I'm adding this here. I'm not surprised by their response. I don't need to send photos or ask them for anything. I shared what happened so other people wouldn't have the same experience, and their reply only reinforced that we shouldn't have gone there. I'm not sure how many tables had four people ordering four steaks, with three of them messed up. We placed our order with the person we were told was the owner's son. He said he was studying medicine in Poland, and had an accent. We saw just one waitress. We were seated across from a table with a large group of young women and a little boy, and behind another table of four, one man and three women, who ordered a BBQ platter. The DJ and the man outside also saw that we left early. They saw you first take us to the other "Shed" and try to persuade us to sit there, before we insisted on eating inside the restaurant where we had ordered. The least you could do is admit the mistakes that made for such a horrible night. Luckily, we found another place afterward and ended the evening on a sweet note, rather than a terrible one on our first visit to Betlahem.
