AubergInn - The House of Eggplants

The garden and sunset views were lovely, and the house has a peaceful countryside feel. I only stayed one night because the hostel I’d booked was going to be empty that day, as I was its only guest, and the owner kindly arranged for me to stay at Auberg-Inn instead. It was quiet and fairly clean, with everything I needed. There’s a supermarket just a few minutes away on foot, and the cable car and old Jericho are walkable too. You’ll need a taxi to get to the rest of the city. I’d recommend it.

We had a cozy room with a balcony and could see the mountains. Even though it was winter, we still enjoyed sitting out there. The room and bathroom were very clean, and they made us coffee in the morning. It’s a lovely hostel in a typical house, with a garden full of trees and plants. Jericho has a special feel, and staying here made the visit feel complete. I’d recommend it 100%!

A good place to take a break from traveling. The house and garden are lovely, and it’s really relaxing here. The staff are very friendly and helped us sort out travel plans. You can walk easily to the Mount of Temptation and the ancient city, and downtown Jericho is about a 25-minute walk, or a quick cab ride. The facilities are what you’d expect at a hostel, and the price is hostel-level too.

The neighborhood is quiet, and we had a spacious room with a terrace and great food. It’s about a 15-minute walk to restaurants, then another 10 minutes to the town center. The main tourist sights are also easy to reach from here. Coming from Ramallah, you can ask the shared taxi to stop on the road by the hotel, which saves taking another taxi from the center. The staff also helped us book local attractions and arrange a taxi to the border with Jordan.
