Luna Hotel Turismo

The restaurant steak with potato wedges and salad was excellent, and the stay felt well worth the price. My room was tidy, the air conditioning worked well, and the place was calm and cosy. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful.

The hotel sits high on a hill with lovely views, yet it's only about five minutes from the motorway. We stayed six days in July 2025 as a family of three and had a great time. Our family room had a king bed and a single, plenty of space, good air conditioning, and a fabulous bathroom. Breakfast had a filling mix of continental items, hot and cold choices, pastries and cereal. Dinner was very good the one night we ate at the hotel; most evenings we were visiting family and ate with them. The pool is a good size and has a shallow section for children. There are tennis courts nearby and a Telepizza next door for eating in or takeaway. Bring some cash, since it doesn't take non-Portuguese cards. I'd highly recommend the hotel across the board. Thanks for a great stay.

Dinner service in the restaurant was exceptional, and the outdoor pool is beautiful. We also loved the incredible views from the lounge, bar and restaurant, which is where breakfast is served. Our room was comfortable and a good size, with a large balcony that was a real bonus. The building mixes modern decor with a few original older touches. The Turkish bath has a serious safety issue: its door could be blocked by the shower door if the shower door isn't fully closed. The spa could use an update.

The lounge bar is a relaxing spot, with a balcony overlooking the river, and breakfast was great. The receptionist was lovely. Rooms were clean, with a good bathroom and shower, and there was a place to store our bikes. The hotel is perched on a hill. I'd happily come back and recommend it.
