Residencial O Lousinhas

A warning: this review is about what happened around six years ago, so it is what it is. I sincerely hope this residence has changed. Without a doubt, it was the worst place I stopped to rest and sleep for a night on all my pilgrimages. We had booked a triple room for three adults, but it only had two single beds. The sheets and pillowcase on my bed clearly hadn’t been changed. When I opened it, the bedding was crumpled and covered in hair and fur. The bathroom was in very poor condition. The furniture was very old, the mattress was uncomfortable, the bed creaked whenever I moved, and the TV remote didn’t work. A complete disaster. What I hated most was being told there was a restaurant, then arriving to be told it was their day off and we’d have to fend for ourselves. If things are still run the same way, forget it. Total disaster.

By chance, I went for dinner with a group of relatives at Residencial O Lousinhas on Saturday 16/11/2024. We’re not from the area. I can only say thank you for the meal and the kindness. At one point it felt like we were at my mother’s house, and my mother was there too. Thank you so much.

Good location, reasonably good quality for an overnight stay and restaurant, and a good price.

I don’t know the residence itself, but the restaurant is fantastic.
