We only had to wait a little while for a breakfast table on a few mornings, and the food was absolutely worth it. More seating at that time would be a nice improvement. The rest of our stay at Castelo Suites felt quiet and relaxing, with everything clean, tidy and maintained to a high standard. The design felt luxurious, and we loved the refreshing flavoured welcome waters, sauna and spa facilities, and the TV mirror in our room. Every detail seemed thoughtfully done. The staff were friendly, professional and attentive. Jackson especially kept guests smiling and made everyone feel comfortable. The hotel is lucky to have him. I’d recommend Castelo Suites for a relaxing holiday where you feel pampered.

We came for five nights and stayed eleven because we fell in love with the place. We were genuinely sad to leave. The renovated rooms, amenities and pool were all lovely, but it was the people who made the stay feel like home. We arrived as guests and left feeling like family. The hotel is well placed for exploring the Algarve, roughly equal travel time to the Faro and Lagos sides, and there’s a beautiful beach seven minutes away on foot. We also loved the rooftop DJ. Mario Marques was playing during our stay, and his sets made for a relaxed, lively and unforgettable atmosphere. At first we ate out every evening, but after trying the hotel dinners we had most of our meals there. The quality and variety were excellent. June 13th, during the traditional Portuguese festivities, was a highlight: the hotel put on a lovely evening of local dishes, regional drinks and live music, giving us a real taste of Portuguese culture. On my birthday I also got a delicious cake with a bottle of Blanc de Blancs. I’m attaching a few pictures of my breakfast and dinner plates, though unfortunately not many. A special thanks to Fernando for his stories and distinctive cocktails made with local ingredients, Ricardo at the pool bar for the great drinks and my daily oat milk latte, Adriana and Thais at reception for always being warm and helpful, and Carlos at the restaurant for the lovely conversations. Lots of other team members helped make our stay memorable too, and I’m grateful to all of them. If we return to Portugal, we’ll definitely stay here again.

I had such a lovely birthday stay. They surprised me with a cake and a bottle of local Brut wine, which I really hadn't expected. The rooms were cozy, the service was great, and the rooftop pool has a beautiful ocean view. Everything was spotless, with fresh towels brought daily, though I personally didn't think that was necessary. I enjoyed it so much and would come back. Thanks for everything! 😊

After a nightmare with our rental, I had to move here in the middle of the night, and the staff handled my arrival, then my family's, so kindly while we found new accommodation. We would have stayed anyway. The hotel is just around the corner from our rental, and I admired the outside almost every day. It felt calm and welcoming, with tasteful decor, nature throughout, and modern touches. The rooms were luxurious and well equipped, with lovely sitting balconies. The restaurant was amazing, and there were other places to eat nearby. It's about a 20-minute walk to the beach. The service was superb: professional, attentive, caring, and alert. I couldn't make full use of everything during my visit, but there were two pools with bars, a sitting library, lounge areas, a restaurant, and a custom tea station. If you get the chance to stay, I don't think you'll be disappointed.
