It's a nice place, but you'll need a car for pretty much everything. It's on the outskirts of Albufeira, so I wouldn't recommend it if you're flying in for a holiday, since you'd have to throw away even small leftovers. The house is clean and comfortable, a small semi-detached place on two floors. Upstairs is a double bedroom suite. Downstairs there's a toilet, a kitchen, and a living room with two beds, a sofa, TV with no channels, Wi-Fi and a dining table. I'd suggest bringing Chrome for the TV. The table opens onto a terrace with direct access to the pool. I thought the pool could do with a little more chlorine, even though the filter runs all day. Children and adults use the same water, and kids will be kids. Maintenance staff live in the complex like any other guests. The woman who welcomed us was attentive and helpful; she said our towels would be changed halfway through our eight-day stay. That didn't happen, and we also ran out of toilet paper, so I went to ask at her quarters. An unpleasant man told me we were in a villa for four despite only being two, so we already had plenty of towels, and that toilet paper was complimentary and we'd have to buy more. I don't think that's an acceptable way to treat guests. After we'd taken the spare towels and bought paper ourselves, we came back from an outing to find a bag of towels and toilet paper at the door. I suppose the man had taken advantage of the situation.

The hosts were especially helpful when we had trouble with an inconvenient departure time, and they always responded quickly and tried to make our stay comfortable. My wife and I came in September, with friends in the apartment next door, and we all loved it. It's a quiet spot with a well-equipped kitchen, a large fridge, washing machine and dishwasher. The beds were comfortable, there was air conditioning on both floors, and everything was very clean. Plenty of closet space, too. Outside, there's a barbecue, a spot to relax under an umbrella, and a pool with a shower and individual sun loungers. The soundproofing was great: we could shut the windows and sleep well even if the neighbors were noisy.

It's set in a peaceful residential area, in a complex of 12 apartments with a shared pool. Each apartment has a terrace overlooking the pool and a barbecue. The place is centrally located for exploring the Algarve, while still away from the mass-tourism bustle, so it's easy to relax. The apartments are lovely and comfortable, recently renovated, with everything needed for a family stay, including a washing machine, dishwasher and kitchenware. Everything feels brand new. The staff are very friendly and available whenever something comes up.

The apartments have everything you need for either a short or long holiday. It's a very peaceful place, with a good area to relax, spend time with family and enjoy the pool. There are grassy areas and parking as well. The beaches are close by, about five minutes by car to Praia Maria Luísa and Praia de Santa Eulália. The latter has plenty of parking.
