There’s a lot around here, with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby, and a beautiful beach about a 10-minute walk away. The location is great, and the rooms were clean and fairly spacious. The windows were clean too, with electric metal shutters that made us feel more secure. I’d been unsure because of the mixed reviews, but was pleasantly surprised in many ways. Some parts of the stay were less comfortable. We were worried about using the kitchen dishes after reading reviews from people who said they lost part of their deposit over unclean dishes, so we ate out every day. The café and restaurant on site had a limited menu, and the food was overpriced for the quality. The barman spoke very little English, which made things a bit difficult, though we managed. There’s a €100 per person deposit on arrival. I can understand having a deposit, but that amount felt high, and it could only be paid in cash. The nearby ATMs all charged €4.95, so it was frustrating not to be able to use a card. Around the pool, there was no lifeguard, though it isn’t very deep. We also found weeds growing between the slabs and some loose ones that made us lose our footing a few times. Some children were running around and shouting after 10 pm on a few nights. Even with those issues, we had a good experience, and the price was fair for what you get.
