The little café was handy, the pool was a relaxing spot, and the hotel was spotless. The staff were warm and welcoming throughout our stay. We were three younger women and wondered if that might affect how people treated us, but everyone was kind and helpful. It’s close to the new town, local bars and places to eat, and the beach is a 10-minute walk away. Despite being near so much, it was still quiet at night. The pizza place across from the hotel was one of our favorites. We only wish we’d stayed longer!

I was charged a €100 deposit when I arrived, with no warning beforehand. At checkout they said they’d keep €50 because I hadn’t washed a couple of plates and a saucepan. We had to leave at 5:30 am for a 6 am transfer, and someone was already waiting outside to check the room. That part didn’t bother me, but I was there with my eight-year-old daughter and had to run back at 5:45 to wash the dishes so I could get my deposit back. It felt like extortion. I won’t return.

The people working here were the best part, especially the security guard, who was incredibly kind to my friends and me when we were dealing with a crisis. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. The pool was lovely, and I’d recommend the poolside bar for its tasty food and drinks at reasonable prices. It’s a fantastic hotel, and I can’t recommend it enough to anyone staying in Albufeira.

We arrived at 10 pm and the bar staff stayed on to make food for us. The reception team also went out of their way with advice and help planning our day. Such friendly staff and excellent service, nothing ever seemed too much trouble.
