For two weeks, we stayed in these small, inexpensive rooms in the nicest part of the old town, and got what we expected. The staff were extra nice. But it’s very close to the parties and the beach, so if you want somewhere quiet to relax or sleep, look elsewhere.
The rooms were clean and tidy, and the best thing is how close they are to the beach. The staff are super polite too.
The people here are amazing, especially the lovely receptionists. It’s a wonderful spot for a holiday, with everything you need close by.
PÉ na Areia residence had a really good location, but there were bed bugs in the room, on the cushions, and on the sheets. The owner gave us cash back for one of our two nights, probably to avoid a dispute on Booking.com. I wouldn’t recommend staying there.
Zero stars, it couldn’t be worse. We had a seven-person dorm facing the restaurant street. No AC, and the noise and heat were unbearable all night. The good points were the price, the French employee’s friendliness, and the cleanliness. Unless you’re young, go to bed at 5 in the morning, and handle heat well, forget it.
