It's good value for what we paid. The apartments are outdated, but ours was clean, spacious, and well equipped. There's a large pool with plenty of sunbeds, plus a bar selling snacks and drinks at reasonable prices. The location is good, about 5 minutes from the main strip, bars, and restaurants. The old town is another 5 minutes away by taxi.

A car is more than welcome, since Vila Alba isn't near the beach or city centre. The resort has two or three level apartments around the block, with a large swimming pool, bar, and tennis court in the middle. We saw a pleasant mix of families, couples, and groups during our stay. The rooms were spacious and clean, with a terrace or balcony, and sheets and towels were refreshed daily. The bed wasn't so comfy.

The apartment was fine, but not great. The beach is within walking distance, though there wasn't really anything to do in the neighborhood. The beds were terrible and the swimming pool was overcrowded.

The staff were kind and really helpful, and the grounds looked lovely and tidy. The apartment was a letdown, though, with a very strong sewage smell at times.

The pool area was fine if you’re into a younger crowd, and the rooms seem better suited to stag groups than families. Our impression was also affected by arriving to find a heated argument between a guest and reception staff.
