Vila Gale Atlantico Resort Hotel

I stayed four nights with a friend. The staff were very friendly, and the cocktails were lovely. Food was good, though the buffet was small and limited on some nights. Our room was okay, and the pool was nice, with the nearest beach very close by. There isn’t much to do around the hotel, so you’ll need a car or taxis. We took an Uber to the old town, about 13 minutes away, for 7-8 euros each way.

We had to leave for the airport at 6 a.m., and the staff gave us packed breakfasts for the journey. We got to choose from donuts, croissants, drinks, fruit and baguettes. The hotel was very clean, and both staff and management were kind and helpful. It was a fantastic holiday, and I recommend this hotel.

The kids loved the Mini Disco at Kids Club every evening, especially because Gabi & Patti included all the children and seemed to work all hours. Our room was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. The mini kitchen came in handy for extra snacks, and there was a supermarket just a couple of minutes away on foot. We had a wonderful week at Vila Galé Atlantico on half board. Dinner had plenty of varied, high-quality options for all our tastes, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. We were there early in the season, so the outdoor pools were a little chilly, but the indoor pool was brilliant. Great facilities in a quiet spot, with a beautiful beach just a stone’s throw away.

The staff were pleasant, and breakfast was okay, though they ran out of English teabags on three of our seven mornings. Our room was clean enough, but dark and dated. We could hear the evening entertainment very loudly from directly above it. We asked to move and were told it would cost more. The location is nice, with a pleasant beach nearby, but a little out of the way. We paid extra for a sea view room and got a side view instead. Sadly, the sun didn’t reach our balcony in the afternoon.
