Hotel Vila Recife

Room 316 was really good, and we appreciated the size and setup. The October price was amazing with breakfast included. The breakfast was generous, tasty, and good, and the staff were kind, friendly, helpful, and welcoming to customers. We really love this place and will definitely come back. The city center has nightlife, so anyone complaining about it just doesn’t understand how things work. If I had one suggestion, it’d be to improve the soundproofing on the room doors, or perhaps add another door and a small hall by the bathroom. That could help, though I understand it would be expensive or difficult to build while keeping the hotel running. They deserve 5 stars.

We booked three nights from late September into early October, and on our last day the geyser in the bedroom started leaking. Water flooded the room and caused a short circuit, leaving us without electricity or hot water just when we needed to get ready and pack for departure. The staff response made matters worse. They didn’t apologize or offer help, and instead tried to justify it by saying the geyser had been replaced in our room, as if that fixed the problem. The leak was unsafe and extremely inconvenient, and their lack of basic courtesy and concern was frustrating. We expected better care and service from this establishment. I’m also adding a video showing the flooding in my room. Please be very careful before booking.

The pool and sun lounge areas are a nice size, and the location is fantastic, just a two-minute walk from the old town center. The hotel is a little dated, but the rooms are very clean and housekeeping is excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. A very pleasant stay, and I’d highly recommend hotel vila recife.

The staff’s hospitality was incredible, including the cleaners and kitchen team you don’t always see. Their work made our holiday easy and pleasant, and we had an amazing time. We’d like to return to Albufeira and will definitely consider Vila Recife again. It’s a quiet hotel close to the beach and to lots of restaurants, bars, and boutiques downtown. The room is basic but has a comfortable bed and a good shower for both temperature and pressure. Cleanliness was good, and the pool was clean. Breakfast wasn’t especially generous, but still very good. Dinner is served at the partner Hotel’s restaurant, and it was absolutely great. The Wi-Fi was very weak. One thing that may matter a lot to some people: not every room can be reached by elevator.
