It’s so lovely being right on the beach. Villa de la Plage is well equipped and maintained, and it’s a great place for a relaxing holiday.

The villa was in immaculate condition, with every detail just right. I stayed at the Beach Villa with a group of friends from August 13th to 18th, and we had an extraordinary time. Its location is exceptional, with breathtaking ocean views, private beach access, and a private pool. A stunning place I highly recommend for a memorable getaway.

The location is hilly, but Uber taxis were easy to get for trips to the old town in Albufeira and the Strip. There’s a path from the end of the garden to the beach, though the rocky slope at the bottom made the last bit tricky. The beach was very clean, with lifeguards on duty, a small kiosk bar, and a full beach bar with loos a little farther along. The villa had everything we needed for a great holiday, from lovely interiors and kitchen equipment to a washing machine and dish dryer. The views are stunning. The pool is on the small side, but it was enough for the family to relax and splash about. We also had lots of fun in the heated terrace jacuzzi, which the family used often, especially in the evenings. We had a BBQ and a great dinner for seven, with room for more around the kitchen table. Check-in was slightly delayed past the advertised 5pm access time, so we went straight into the pool to cool down. It isn’t low cost, but with four bedrooms, its beachfront position and amenities made it good value. A few niggles were sorted quickly by the owner’s management team. Isabelle lives in France, and Kevin came over very quickly whenever we needed help. Nothing was too much trouble. My fondest memory is sitting at the edge of the garden, looking towards Albufeira as the sun went down and sipping several glasses of lovely Portuguese red wine. I’d definitely recommend it, especially for families. There are lots of beach toys and inflatables, plus a table tennis table for the kids. Ahh, wish we were there right now. That view is beautiful and the beach is lovely, even if the water is freezing. And either way, you got five stars from me, so nothing to worry about.
