A quiet town, great for anyone tired of the bustle of cities. There are excellent beaches nearby.

The house is spacious and cool, with three bedrooms, a roomy kitchen, and a huge living room with a big table where everyone can gather. There's Wi-Fi and cable TV, plus a lovely pool and outdoor leisure area for grilling, swimming, and sunbathing. Montes is a peaceful village where the locals are friendly and the area's fruit and vegetables are a treat. The location is convenient too: 10 km from Nazaré, 5 km from patais, with excellent restaurants, 10 km from Alcobaça, and 25 km from Leiria. There are wonderful beaches, both river and ocean. We had a lovely relaxing day and would strongly recommend it for a carefree break away from the city. We'll be back.
