Parque dos Monges

Watching the sunset move across the lake and animate the inner tent fabric while lying on the soft bed made the stay worthwhile on its own. It's a way to get away from city life, somewhere different from a normal bedroom. You feel transported to Amazonia.

The tents are super nicely decorated and have a bunch of structure. Inside the park there are animals, little games, and trails, with more activities outside too. The city is super close, so it really feels like a forest experience inside the city.

The park has a mini zoo and things to do like wooden traditional games, a climbing wall and a slide. You can stay in a cottage or a tent and spend your time just unwinding. One of the best places I know for a proper rest. Go recharge your batteries! 😁😁

The tents sit around the lake, where the ducks and fish are part of the attraction. There's also a garden with fruit trees that feels heavenly, and the kids' activities are fun, especially the zip line. Our tent was comfortable and even had its own restroom. Breakfast was top class, and the whole experience was quite amazing. The lake has piranhas too. There's a big gorilla said to devour tourists who aren't kind or who speak with an American accent.
