Casa Miradouro

There wasn't an ocean view, and the broken terrace chair nearly toppled when I tried to sit on it. The apartment itself was filthy, with hair and dirt everywhere, stained walls, and a sofa that smelled and looked as if something had been spilled on it. The bedding didn't feel fresh and smelled of cheap detergent and cigarettes. The place stank, and staying there felt disgusting. Trains pass close by, and the noise made it impossible to sleep. Street noise also came through, and it was very loud outside. I regretted renting it. I couldn't get any rest or enough sleep.

The apartment was cosy, bright, modern, and very clean. We loved the city and could walk everywhere from this central spot. We had trouble getting the AC on, but the owner replied quickly and was really nice. We had a lovely stay, and I'd totally recommend it.

The place was clean and had all the basics, just right for a weekend. It had no view and a slightly burnt smell, but switching on the air conditioning cleared that up quickly. It's very central, with free parking nearby. The passing train was the only loud noise, though it didn't bother me since I'm not a light sleeper. I stayed two weeks ago and would happily come back. I booked through Airbnb, so there was no deposit.

The house has been recently renovated and is in a good spot near the city centre, though it's pretty small. One of its two bedrooms has no door, and you have to walk through it to reach the terrace. Some of the sockets don't work either. The owner's communication was poor, and he wasn't flexible or helpful, which was really disappointing.
