Hostel Seixe

I stayed for two weeks in October while doing a yoga workshop next door, and it suited me perfectly. There are mostly hikers, so it’s nice and calm. The kitchen is well equipped, and you can do laundry. There was a problem with the bathroom pipes while I was there, but they handled it really well. I booked by email and they forgot my reservation, so no door code was sent. It was easily sorted out and no harm done. Still, maybe it’s better to book through a third party like booking.com. Great hostel for the price, and I’ll stay again when I visit this cute village.

We got in late in the afternoon, and Nadine greeted us with such a warm, friendly smile. The location is amazing, and the amenities were just what we needed, including towels, a fully equipped kitchen and a hot shower on a very rainy day. Thanks so much!

The staff were polite and kind, and our room was clean and roomy enough. The kitchen had good equipment, too. The hostel is in a good location, though we could hear some noise from the corridor. One bathroom was out of order, but they had let us know about it.

Our room had just two beds, so there was plenty of space, which I really liked. The hostel itself was clean and spacious, and towels were included. Some of the equipment was a little dated, but it was clean and still worked fine.
