Annabelle runs a delicious bakery alongside this lovely hotel, and she's very friendly. The pasteis de nata are so good they got the prize for the best in Portugal.

We stopped here on the Fisherman's Trail and found the staff really welcoming. The rooms are excellent for the price. Perfect.

After a rough day cycling, this delightful boutique hotel was a comforting place to land. I was welcomed with hot tea and a pastry, and the breakfast at the cafe next door was absolutely divine. I really enjoyed my two nights here.

The room itself was okay, but the way we were treated was not friendly at all. When we arrived, the owner left us waiting at reception for five minutes while she took what looked like a personal phone call. We had booked a twin room with two beds, but they were pushed together, and bedside tables fixed by the wall meant we couldn't separate them. In the morning there was no hot water for a shower. We called the number on the website and got an answering machine, then tried the other number printed on the bill. The owner lives right across the way and came over quickly, but said cold water was normal because she had no customers. We were staying there, and when I complained she just walked away. There were no bathroom outlets, and the shower grout was moldy, too. I can't recommend this hotel.
