The personal service was the best part. We had an early flight and would miss breakfast, so the hotel prepared takeaway breakfast bags for us. That kind of care made the trip feel perfect. The lobby was attractive, and we were pleasantly surprised by how much the hotel offers: good rooms, a full spa, sauna, gym, and heated pools indoors and outdoors. 100% doc approved and recommended! ~Dr. P

The room could use a little paint or refreshing, so I’d give it about four stars. Still, we felt at home and will be back. The people made our stay: Erikson, Marta, Marco, Pedro, José, Myriam, the tall young woman who greeted us at breakfast each morning, and the two lovely girls working at the night time shirts restaurant. All the cleaning ladies worked hard and kept smiling despite it. Everything else was simply perfect. We loved Portugal because of its humble, kind people ❤️

The first room was noisy, so I went back to reception. A friendly bellhop showed me a few alternatives in different locations, and I was happy with the second one, on the top floor facing the pool. It was spacious and clean. The hallway felt a bit narrow to me, and I could hear alarms, movement, and conversations from next door, though the neighbors were considerate and it didn’t bother me much. I had lunch at the cafe once, and the dish was delicious with good service. Check-in was easy, and the stay was good.

Rodrigo is a big reason we keep returning to Crowne Plaza Caparica Lisbon. He’s attentive, flexible, and proactive in the way he helps guests. As an American, I have high expectations for service, and he’s outstanding by any standard. He brings a five-star approach to looking after people. For the nightly rate, the hotel feels like a consistently good value and more upscale than expected. The rooms are comfortable, the atmosphere is relaxed, and our visits have all gone smoothly. We’re reminded each time why we like it here: a great team and a reliably enjoyable stay.
