This is a clean, simple, comfortable place with a kitchen guests can use and a nice porch for having a beer when it rains. The interior and bathroom meet the standards you need, and the beach is about five minutes away by car. Lisbon city center takes around 15 to 20 minutes, depending on traffic. It’s not the right place if you want a big five-star hotel with a huge flat screen, room service, and golden interiors. But if you’d rather have a cozy place that doesn’t eat up your money, this fits. The host is nice, also works as a surf instructor, and gave me good service and tips on where to go, eat, and find shortcuts, along with a nice chat. It feels genuine, and I’d stay here again whenever I’m near Lisbon.

Gustavo was the best part of our stay. He was incredibly friendly and supportive, always reachable in person or on WhatsUp, and gave us plenty of useful advice on restaurants, shops, and getting to Lisbon. He was also flexible about check-in and check-out. Thanks for a fantastic holiday, we’ll be back! Manawa Camp is in a quiet area about five minutes from the beach by car. The accommodation is basic but clean and well maintained, just as we expected. There’s a small pool and a court for tennis, football, and basketball. Guests can use the shared kitchen and dining area as well as their own kitchenette.
