We loved the quiet setting on the mountain, with incredible views and a thoughtfully decorated house that had everything we needed. Wi-Fi works throughout, which matters when you're traveling with teenagers. There was even a tasty bottle of wine waiting when we arrived, a lovely way to start the holiday. Portugal was a pleasant surprise for us as Spanish lovers, and we'll definitely return to these welcoming owners. A few nearby places we enjoyed: breakfast at the local bakery, with lots of delicious choices; Piri Piri chicken at the restaurant of the same name in Trafaria; and a table barbecue at Sunrise restaurant in Costa da Caparica. Forum shopping center is under a 10-minute drive away and stays open until midnight. You can also get to Lisbon by boat in no more than 10 minutes from the house.

We really liked this cozy house. It's clean, pretty, and peaceful, with a lovely garden. The weather didn't cooperate, strong winds and rain kept us indoors a lot, but we still loved it.

The house and guesthouse were beautiful, and the peace around them made our two weeks so enjoyable. We loved the company, the country, the food, the sweet oranges and lemons, and the lovely weather. There are great places to visit, too. Lisbon is well worth it, Costa da Caparica has a beautiful beach and stunning sea, and Sintra is a bit of a drive but so beautiful. I'd happily return. Highly recommended!
