Dunas Douradas Beach Club

Paulo Farias deserves a special thank you. He’s thoughtful, professional, attentive, and always seems to anticipate what we need. The way he organizes our stays and follows up makes everything smooth, and his care is a big reason people return year after year. Dunas Douradas has felt like a second home to me, my family, and friends for years. I come back every year because the peaceful setting and beautiful location feel like therapy for the soul. The resort is gorgeous, relaxing, and perfectly situated, but the people are what make it special. From reception and luggage staff to management, everyone is warm, welcoming, professional, and genuinely caring. Thank you to the whole team for all the memories we’ll carry with us.

The beach is only a two or three minute walk away, and if you’re up for it, there are some great restaurants within an easy walk along it. Around the area there are plenty of other places to eat too, and the resort restaurant and room service are handy when you’d rather not cook or go out. We’ve been coming back on and off for 20 years and it still delivers. The apartments aren’t all maintained to the same standard, but they’re generally very good. Staff are always friendly and helpful, and the daily maid service is amazing.

The location was great, but the rooms felt tired. With three kids, it was worrying that the main bedroom door and second bedroom window wouldn’t lock. They repaired the kids’ room window but missed the other one. I didn’t feel the staff cared much, and the issue was brushed aside when we checked out.

We loved the sea views and the nice atmosphere at the restaurant at Dunas beach club. The food was fresh and delicious, and the staff were kind and friendly. Highly recommend.
