Hotel Spot Family Suites

The location is great, with an easy walk to the Markets and access to Balhoa station. We stayed four nights in a family suite, but two of those nights there was no hot water. After long, cold days of travel with two small children, that was unacceptable. There’s only a microwave, and with six of us there was no comfortable way to eat in the room. We wanted to cook because one adult was unwell, but that was pretty much impossible. It’s a shame, as otherwise it’s a good place to stay.

Everything was new and clean, and the service was very helpful with information about local tourist options. The hotel is also well located, not far from the old town. Very good hotel.

We had a great two-night stay in Porto. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were nice and clean, and breakfast was included and very good. The elevators are outdated, but overall it’s a good hotel.

The staff were friendly, easy to approach, and really helpful. There was a great choice of food at breakfast, too. The old town is a 10 to 15 minute walk away. A wonderful hotel, and I’d definitely recommend it if you’re planning a visit to Porto.
