The portions were generous, and the beef with fresh mushrooms was really tasty. We also loved the breaded alheira, and finished with a very good passion fruit mousse. What a great experience. I highly recommend it.

The owner is often around and gives each guest a lot of attention. Their wine suggestions are wonderful, with local whites and reds, and the atmosphere has pleasant lighting. The bathrooms are clean, too. Dinner starts at 7 pm, though we've also been for lunch, and they speak English if needed. The food is fresh and well prepared, especially the octopus, which is always delicious. Excellent restaurant and service, definitely recommended.

There's a lovely view here, and the food is carefully prepared from the starters right through to dessert. I've been coming on Easter Monday and have never had anything to complain about. Whenever I'm back in Amarante, I try to return. Recommended.

We had the seafood trilogy and posta, both delicious. The menu is excellent, and the room is nicely decorated and welcoming. Prices are on the higher side, but the quality and service make them fair. I'd recommend it.
