I came across this place while walking the Camino de Santiago, and the caretaker kindly helped me get a room. I slept wonderfully. The bed was huge and comfortable, and the shower had plenty of room and was easy to use. The room smelled nice, and I used the kettle, fridge and TV. I also loved sitting on the balcony, listening to birds and watching the sunrise.

The room was lovely and very clean, but checking in took about an hour because nobody was at the front desk. I tried calling to extend my stay and found the phone line wasn’t working. The housekeeper I met briefly was very friendly.

There isn’t much to do nearby, so the spa becomes a big part of the appeal. But it’s very small, and noisy kids took over the pool, which was smaller than it first seemed. Relaxing there was impossible, and whether you get to enjoy the spa feels like luck. The place itself is modern and clean for the price, the bedrooms are comfortable, and the staff were really friendly. The price is still attractive.

There was no air conditioning, and the spa wasn’t available at all, with everything closed. This felt like false advertising, and the stay was overpriced and inconvenient. The rooms were clean and modern, with a lovely balcony, but there was never anyone at reception. I got checked in with help from the cleaner, while my friend waited 2 1/2 hours because nobody was there.
