We were there in March. The house is roomy, but its decor felt cold and uninspired. The cold white lights were unpleasant enough that we left them off. The kitchen, especially, was crowded with lots of unnecessary things. From the terrace, the view is nice, though pretty typical of Madeira. Sun reaches it from late morning, but when it’s windy and you need the parasols, there’s still nowhere outside to get shade.
