The river and town views are beautiful, and you can easily walk into town and reach all the amenities. The place has rustic charm, was spotless and very comfortable. I especially liked relaxing on the balcony or by the pool overlooking the river.

The one real plus is the view over the town. The rest was disappointing: breakfast wasn't included, despite the listing saying it was, and the place was dirty. We even found ants all over the sofa, and the pool edges were green. There was a check-in time, but nobody was there, and they didn't even get in touch to arrange when we'd arrive. After booking, we couldn't reach them to complain about breakfast, and Booking.com hasn't taken responsibility either. I wouldn't recommend it. The price is far too high for what they actually provide.

We stayed from 10 to 16 August 2020. The host was very friendly and attentive, and the location was excellent, with a magnificent view of Ponte da Barca. I'd recommend it.
