What a letdown. The house needs maintenance: there were holes and brown marks on the walls, loose cables, an unmowed lawn, and a dirty pool. The French window wouldn't open, and its inside shutter couldn't be closed because the tiles are 10 cm high over a 1 m stretch. There was no air conditioning, although the listing said there'd be a fan, which wasn't there either. There's no washing machine. The house layout also feels poorly planned. The kitchen is upstairs, the dining room is on the ground floor, and the terrace is at the opposite end.

The house has been thoughtfully restored, with generous rooms and everything kept clean. It fits its setting beautifully. I’d happily return.
