I spend about 90% of my time travelling and have stayed in all sorts of places, from hotels to AirBNBs and bed and breakfasts. This place stands out as exceptional. Everything felt perfect and made with love, and I don’t think you’ll find a better place to stay in the area.

Jose and the little dogs, Joep, Binky and Wifi, made us feel very welcome. The rooms have individual themes and are nicely decorated, and the breakfast was excellent. It's peaceful here and the view is fantastic. This was my third visit, and this time I stayed for 12 days. I had a wonderful holiday. Thank you!

I ended up adding three nights to my original four at Casa Traca with José. The garden has so many places to sit, whether you want sun or shade, and every room is so carefully looked after. I was travelling without a car, but there was still plenty to explore on foot. The scenery is stunning, from the mountains and river beaches to the little cafes and restaurants nearby. José was thoughtful and helpful, and breakfast was divine. I feel very grateful!

The outdoor space is simple, but that's part of its lovely charm. The location is great, the accommodation feels welcoming, and the owner is very kind. The breakfast was among the best I've had.
