The old stone building and swimming pool among the vineyard were wonderful, and the rooms were nice too. Breakfast came with local fruit and wine. Even though the staff don't speak English, they took care of every request. Everything felt amazing.

The rooms were spotless, breakfast was delicious, and the views were breathtaking. We couldn't have wanted more from the hospitality or the place. One thing to plan for: not many people in town speak English, and the connection can be unstable, so download Portuguese for offline translation or speak French. We're already planning to return in September for the harvest.

The Quinta is charming, the room was comfortable, and the views are stunning. It's fairly easy to reach by car and sits right in the Douro Valley among the wineries. The hosts don't speak much English, but we managed without a problem. Breakfast was great, and his wine is pretty decent too. Recommended.

Wonderful hosts, really good breakfast and wine, and just the perfect place to stay. I'd give it ten stars if I could.

The owners are very friendly, and breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed the little dogs on the property and the owner's homemade wine. This beautiful historic house also has plenty of amenities, including a billiard table, indoor and outdoor seating, and a pool with fantastic river views. It's very well located for the wineries.
