Villa Tavares Guest Houses

We loved staying at Villa Tavares Suites, and it helped make Portugal unforgettable for our daughter and us. Jorge and Patricia were easy to reach with questions, and check-in and check-out were straightforward. Our private room was lovely and clean, with its own bathroom and a little fridge. The shared living room was cozy and had everything in good condition, including a big clean fridge and freezer, an oven, microwave, and kettle. You could also meet guests from other countries in the shared space if you wanted to.

The room was spotless and very roomy, with a lovely balcony, and the shared lounge was fantastic. The hostess was kind and came to check us in early after we let her know we’d arrive sooner than expected. The town centre is an easy walk away, with restaurants, supermarkets, and other services close by.

The room had a nice garden view and was clean, comfortable, and on a quiet street. Town is walkable, and the eco park and suspension bridge are a short drive away. The shared kitchen and living room were empty while we were there, so we had them to ourselves. There were plenty of pots and pans, plus sugar, salt, and pepper. Coffee pods cost €0.50 and the machine only takes those coins, so bring some along. There’s a coffee machine in the room as well as one in the kitchen.

Patricia helped us organize our visit to the Arouca bridge and the surrounding area, and she was kind and very helpful. The place was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed and easy access. There are good local restaurants about a five-minute drive away, and Patricia can suggest some. We were really happy staying there and hope to come back for a longer visit. Highly recommend.
