Dunas Villa

The house looks luxurious in the photos, but we ran into MANY problems once we arrived. The dishwasher was hard to use and had no instructions. The heavy outdoor umbrella wasn't secured properly and blew over in strong wind. That could have been really dangerous if the three young children with us had been by the pool. Some beds were uncomfortable too, along with a few other problems, including one especially horrible issue. We told the owner, and these things should have been dealt with, but we got no reply at all. The photos make the place look nice, but we wouldn't come back.

The village is lovely, with bakeries and plenty of nice places to enjoy. The beach was nearly empty, with lots of nature and sand, and a calm sea with waves. At Dina’s Villas, the staff were kind, polite, and always ready to help, and the house was fantastic. We had teenagers with us, and they got a bit bored because of the location. For the parents and children under 12, though, it was a perfect holiday. The pool was the afternoon and evening highlight. We'd love to return another time.

A quiet spot, with the beach about 1 km away and Aveiro reachable by ferry in around 10 minutes. With such a big pool and outdoor space, we hardly needed to leave the house. It's modern and clean, with a barbecue area that has everything you need. A great place for a few days of relaxing with friends or family, and it can sleep 10 to 12 people.

The location is just right for a restful stay, and the ferry to Aveiro makes getting around quick and easy. The owner was very attentive. The house itself was excellent, with lovely decor, plenty of equipment, and good cleanliness.
