I spent a month here as a digital nomad and had such a great time. It was just right for working and living peacefully. Sandy is the sweetest, warmest host, and before long she felt like a good friend. She made sure I was well fed with delicious, colorful food that felt made with love. I’ll really miss Blueberry. Sandy even took me to a local blueberry farm, where the aunties were absolutely adorable. Hope I get to see Sandy and Dino again. Thank you for everything, my sweet friends! 💛

We stayed at Swara Slow Living for a month and were absolutely thrilled. The warm-hearted hosts made us feel at home right away and always had great suggestions for local excursions. For remote work, it was stress-free, with quiet work spaces and a coworking feel that’s a real insider tip for digital nomads. The kitchen was a dream, with thoughtful, healthy meals each day that lifted my energy and wellbeing. I strongly recommend it to traveling nomads who usually order food most of the time and want a healthy change for a while. If you want productive work alongside slow living, genuine hospitality, and healthy food, put Swara Slow Living at the top of your list.

I came for a short mama break, looking for self-care and a retreat. I usually book a hotel and spa, but this was such a special experience that I’ll come back. The house is simple and intentional, with thoughtful touches and a delicious breakfast included. I loved the big, clean yoga and meditation room, which is open all day. Vegetarian lunch and dinner are available on request, and Sandy cooked them with phenomenal care and quality ingredients. Swara is a unique place for healing through food and learning, not just somewhere to stay. It’s suited to a digital detox, even though there is a workspace. I had a customized yoga and meditation session that felt healing, relaxing, and heartfelt. Sandy is intuitive, well-traveled, interesting, and lovely. I can’t wait to return and try her cooking classes. You must try her food! I’m also a little sad I didn’t get to say goodbye to someone from London. If you’re reading this, ciao!

I had a great time at Swara. Sandy is caring and a great host, and the food is amazing, made with love. The cooking class was helpful and tailored to my needs. The rooms are beautiful and quiet. It’s a perfect place to rest and reset for a few days, and I’ll come again. I’ve returned a couple of times since. It also has potential as a great coworking place for digital nomads, who can enjoy nourishing food while working remotely.

I came here after walking the Camino de Santiago in September 2023, and Swara Slow Living Home is one of those places you hate to leave. The garden is beautiful, and the dining spaces have gorgeous, comfortable furniture. My room had loads of space and was so comfortable; the yoga and meditation room was peaceful, just right for stretching and a bit of quiet. Sandy made a vegetarian dinner and served a breakfast that went way beyond what I imagined. And Sandy herself is caring, supportive, friendly, professional, interesting, and smart. I could have talked with her for hours, and did whenever she had time. I won’t forget this stay. If I could rate the place 10 out of 5 and Sandy 100 out of 5, I would. Thank you, Sandy.
